Vital Signals

When I was writing from behind a different mask, one of my stories was selected to feature in a collection that featured luminaries like Tim Maughan, Simon Ings and Geoff Ryman.

It envisages a world in which microbes have been developed to eat plastic waste — but problems arise when a doctor realises that they also consume the plastic present in the flesh of human beings due to the contamination of food and water supplies…
